BB guns in Australia
l am in South Korea now & l saw a BB machine gun for sale. l wanna buy it
and take it to Australia with me. Does anyone know if it is illegal to
take it with me. If no do l have to report to customs and should l contact
customs first.
You need to apply for a firearms license to own a BB gun in
Australia. No, customs will not let it through. You have to comply with
all the safekeeping requirements (ie keep it in an approved gun safe) to
own it in Australia as well as a 'genuine reason' for owning the BB gun
(either for recreational hunting/pest control) or target shooting (you
must be a member of a licenced gun club to comply). Pretty strict hey!

You wont get that through without a weapons licence from the
police.
I live in australia, and no you cant bring it in. And if you do
you will get a fine, and even a jail term.
